The intrinsic value of restricted stock awards vested during the years ended December 31, 2016, 2015 and 2014 was $25 million, $31 million and $17 million, respectively. Restricted stock awards made to employees have vesting periods ranging from 1 year with variable vesting dates to 10 years.
